About WCAA
The Walker Chargers Alumni Association (WCAA) is the official membership organization of the alumni of
O. Perry Walker High School (New Orleans, LA). Membership in the association is open to graduates of
O. Perry Walker High School, as well as former school administrators, faculty and staff members. The Walker Chargers Alumni Association is a nonprofit, tax exempt entity in the State of Louisiana.
Purpose
The WCAA has been organized for the following charitable purposes:

To protect the integrity and reputation of the O. Perry Walker High School and Walker Chargers name, logos, marks and other brand identifiers.

To support and uplift the establishment and/or operation of an educational institution that is aligned with and utilizes the Walker Chargers brand identifiers.

To promote fellowship and extend acquaintanceship among O. Perry Walker alumni by means of social gatherings and special events.

To establish and administer a scholarship fund to provide educational support for deserving youth.

To assist and support individuals and groups engaged in civic, cultural and economic endeavors.
Membership
Eligibility
Membership in the Walker Chargers Alumni Association is open to graduates of O. Perry Walker High School, as well as former school administrators, faculty and staff members. The first 100 registered members are recognized as Charter Members of the WCAA.
Membership Benefits
Registered members have the right to attend and cast votes at General Assembly Meetings and are able to serve on committees and run for elected offices. As well, members will be extended priority opportunities to secure tickets, passes and or tables at WCAA-sponsored events and activities.
Fee Structure
Membership renewals are $35. New memberships are $50. Both memberships will receive membership packages with much anticipated items.
How to Join
To join the WCAA, simply visit the alumni website and click BECOME A MEMBER. You will be taken to the Charger Shop to purchase your membership and then complete either a renewal form or new membership form.
